This is the new Audi A1 S line style Edition. It slots into the A1 variety above the S line models, but below the top-spec Black Editions, and costs begin at £18,125.
Audi declares that the style edition features ‘around £2,200-worth of design and technology-oriented choices for a premium of £950 above the equivalent S line model.’

The car is available with a choice of either the 85bhp 1.2 TFSI, 120bhp 1.4 TFSI and 104bhp 1.6 TDI engines, and in either the A1 three-door or five-door bodystyles.
The S line style edition vehicles include a choice of metallic or pearl-effect paint completes in a choice of Ice Silver, Phantom Black, Misano Red or Glacier White.
Three-door designs have a gloss black finish for the contrasting roofing pillar colour, while the Sportback features a full gloss-black contrasting roof. Both vehicles also get gloss black door mirror caps.
An additional black styling bundle also include a gloss finish for the front grille surround and a matt black finish for the grille, fog light surrounds and number plate holder.
The final exterior tweaks include xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights and 17-inch alloy wheels with a bi-colour finish. A bi-colour ‘five-arm’ design is also available as a no-cost option.
Inside the A1 S line style Edition, the air vents are completed in either Misano Red or Glacier White when these exterior colours are chosen, or in gloss black in conjunction with the Ice Silver and Phantom Black exterior options.
Otherwise, the interior stays the exact same as the routine A1 S line, and features part-leather sports seats, a sports steering wheel, a 6.5-inch retractable display screen and Bluetooth.
Prices for the S line style edition begin at £18,125 for the 85bhp 1.2-litre petrol, and increase to £19,985 for the 120bhp 1.4-litre petrol with a seven-speed S tronic gearbox. The five-door Sportback starts at £18,745 for the 1.2, and rises to £20,605 for the 1.4 S tronic.
