Buyers who select new urban Nav models have a choice of two engines: a 0.9-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine and a 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel powertrain, both of which produce 89bhp. The diesel produces a lot more torque than the petrol powertrain (220Nm vs 135Nm), but it’s £1,450 a lot more expensive at £17,675.
Both engines are mated to a five-speed manual gearbox, although a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission can be specified for the diesel model for an additional £1,320.
PCP and hire purchase contracts are also available on the Clio urban Nav, with one year’s complimentary insurance being used on a 37-month, 6,000-mile per year contract, whch costs £149 per month. A £5,030 customer deposit is required.
