Chevrolet exposes pair of Corvette special editions

GM has revealed two new special editions of the Chevrolet Corvette off the back of positive reactions to two ideas shown at last year’s SEMA motor Show. The first, called Atlantic, is based on the convertible as well as leans towards a much more elegant finish, while the second, called Pacific, is based on the Stingray as well as gets much more aggressive styling inside as well as out.

Both editions include the Z51 pack as basic (already basic devices on all UK models) as well as function customized floor mats, sprinkle guards as well as rear number plate surround. In addition the Atlantic, gets a Z06 style popular front splitter, Shark grey exterior vents, bonnet graphics as well as roofing system inserts, chrome wheels as well as customized luggage.
The Pacific design adds full length satin black racing stripes, satin black wheels with Stingray centre caps, carbon fibre bodykit as well as roofing system panel, carbon rear spoiler, mirrors as well as exterior badges as well as red brake callipers. Inside, there are competition sports seats trimmed either in red or black, carbon fibre trim as well as an indoor vehicle cover. Colour choices are restricted to red, black, white, sliver or grey.

Under the skin you’ll discover the a 460bhp 6.2-litre V8, capable of covering 0-62mph in 4.2 seconds, in both cars, although the Atlantic includes an eight-speed automatic transmission, while the sportier Pacific design includes a seven-speed handbook transmission. The standard-fit Z51 pack adds a restricted slip differential, bigger tyres, wheels as well as brakes, plus firmer suspension.
There is no news yet on costs or whether these two editions will be made offered to UK customers.
