McLaren GT supercar recreated as a ride-on toy automobile for kids

McLaren has added another automobile to its junior ride-on model range. The company’s most current 12V toy is a scaled down version of the McLaren GT, which is priced between £163 and £234 depending on the selected options.
The toy takes plenty of inspiration from the real supercar, sharing its dihedral doors and a choice of six colour options, all of which were cherry picked from the real car’s catalogue. Other features include working switchgear for the dashboard, a bucket seat with a seat belt, a functional boot, working brake lights and fake engine noises which play when the child presses the accelerator.

Parents can even spec the McLaren GT ride-on with an infotainment screen on the dashboard, which can play music from either a USB device or an SD card. However, the accessory is an optional extra.
