A five-door version of the three-door Kia pro_cee’d GT hot hatch is called the Kia Cee’d GT and you can get it now in UK showrooms.
The Kia Cee’d GT is a lot more functional than the pro_cee’d version but it still boasts excellent performance figures. Its 1.6-litre turbocharged engine delivers 201bhp and 265Nm of torque, while the 0-60mph sprint takes just 7.4 seconds. The automobile will reach a top speed of 143mph.

It’s quite an economical engine, too. A six-speed manual gearbox helps it emit 171g/km of CO2, whilst returning 38.2mpg on the combined cycle.

The Kia Cee’d GT’s responsiveness is improved by a twin-scroll turbocharger that eliminates lag when accelerating. Retuned steering makes the automobile a lot more direct and responsive, whilst the brakes are the most powerful in the Kia Cee’d range.
