Porsche has exposed a new limited-run 911 Targa GTS, designed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the marque’s way of life arm, Porsche Design. Called the 911 edition 50Y Porsche Design, just 750 cars and trucks will be built, as well as UK costs begin from £144,360.
The colour plan of the special-edition cars and truck commemorates the Chronograph I wristwatch of 1972, as well as Porsche is releasing a limited-edition version of the timepiece together with the new model. The 911 edition 50Y is painted black, as well as features centre-lock alloy wheels completed in satin grey.

Like all 911 GTS models, the cars and truck is equipped with Porsche’s SportDesign bodykit, which includes a more aggressive front bumper as well as a redesigned rear end, with the number plate mounted higher than usual. The dark style continues with black brake calipers, together with grey ‘Porsche Design’ decals along the side of the car.

The darker-grey rollover hoop of the Targa GTS remains, as well as the edition 50Y gets a Porsche style 50th anniversary badge on the rear deck lid.
Inside, the special edition gets black leather upholstery with Porsche’s vintage Sport-Tex trim on the seats, as well as a bespoke clock, as part of the common sport Chrono Package. A grey sunburst dial, a red second hand as well as a Porsche style logo differentiate it from the common item.
The edition 50Y is fitted with a twin-turbocharged flat-six motor creating 473bhp.
